11 Months Old

I can't believe my baby girl is 11 months old.  This stage in her life is amazing.  She is learning new things everyday. Words can't express how much I love her.

Age: 11 months
Height: 28 1/2 inches- I think she has long legs like her daddy
Weight: Around 18 lbs
Milestones: Kenna can take a couple steps- 12 at the most. She looks so funny when she tries to walk.  She also can walk from couch to couch.
Sleep: Still not sleeping through the night.  It is a hit or miss now with her getting teeth.  One night this last week she got up at 12:30, 3:30, and 5:30.  Wufta. Makes for a tired mama.   Then last night she slept till 5:30:)
Best Moment: She has learned how to give kisses.  When I ask her for a kiss, I get a big old juicy kiss.  She gave daddy two this morning when he work up.   She also started to dance.  Whenever there is music on she sways back and forth.
Worst Moment: She has a couple bruises on her face from trying to learn how to walk.  She will try to walk from couch to coffee table and smoke the coffee table with her face.
Health: She is growing great and is a happy, healthy baby!
Eating: Kenna loves to eat. Some of her favorite foods are peas, grapes, yogurt that we freeze, and pizza.   She likes most food, but the other day I found out that she does not like pineapple. She feeds herself almost everything she eats.  She is also one of the messiest eaters I have seen.
Teeth: She has two on the bottom, two on the top, and another one coming through on the top.

Wet and Wild Weekend

This last weekend we went to Wisconsin dells to see my roommates. My husband and I went to college at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and all of my roommates still live over on that side of the state.  Since we live on the west side of Wisconsin we do not get to see them very much:(  One of my friends just got recently engaged and another one had a baby, in addition none of them had met Kenna, so we decided it was time to get together. We ended up staying in a Villa at the Wilderness. It was great. Such a well needed little escape. It was also amazing seeing my roommates, they are such great people. I miss them so much.

On our little mini vacation we got to go shopping at the outlet mall.  I got a killer pair of Nikes for Kenna.  Yay for her first pair of running shoes:) The only thing better then buying myself running shoes is buying them for her. They are way cuter then my running shoes.

Kenna's new kicks:)

We also checked out the water parks at the Wilderness. I have never been to an indoor water park so I did not know what to expect.  I thought it was cool to see all the different themed water parks.  I couldn't believe how many people were there.  Kenna enjoyed splashing around in the water, but couldn't quite figure out how to crawl in the water without getting her head dunked in the water.  She still had a good time and looked dang cute in her swimming suit.
 Look at all that hair:)

Such a wonderful weekend.  Can't wait to see my girls again. We have decided to make it a yearly thing.
