17 Weeks

Cheese
My love bug

We were finally home this weekend. This is the first time we have been home in almost two months.  It was very nice, to hang out and clean and relax.   We were still got a lot done. Kenna and I, went shopping for a bunch of back to school stuff.  Mostly we stocked up on a bunch of groceries and diapers. I also worked in my classroom for a little bit. Still a long ways to go.

This week is going to be crazy busy.  School officially starts tomorrow for teachers. OMG where did summer go:(  I am so sad it is time to go back to school. I am going to miss my little girl soo much.  Kenna and I have become best friends over the summer.  We do everything together.  The water gates will be opened when I drop her off at our new daycare. Kenna is honestly the sweetest little girl. She has such a strong personality, but also is so nice and kind. One day she will give me trouble, but right now I cant get enough of her:)   I will miss her very much.  I guess that's life of working mamas.

We also got a new patio--- WOOT WOOT- it is soo awesome.  I will post pictures when it is officially done. I took a before picture- you wont believe how different it looks.  We still have to wait a couple days before we can wash it off and are still working on getting a patio set.

Overall, it was a great weekend- On Friday, the boys finished up the patio and we hung out at home.   On Saturday, we ran some errands and went to our friends bean bag tourney. It was so much fun. I cant wait for next year.   Then today, we had a great day. We stayed home and snuggled on the couch and watched cartoons and even church on tv.  It was so nice not to have to get up and get ready.  Then all of my sisters and their kids came over to have dinner for my sister who is leaving for college.  We ate lots yummy food and played outside in the sandbox and sprinkler:)  It was a fantastic weekend. The rest of the night will be spent doing school work and putting away laundry. LET THE FUN BEGIN.

16 weeks:)

Holy Emotional- I am not a big crier, but I feel like I cry and get emotional more frequently. When I was pregnant with Kenna I rarely cried.  I also feel like I worry a lot when I am pregnant. I dont even worry about anything specific, but just worry about everyone lol. I am telling you sometimes being pregnant and having crazy hormones is not fun.  I also have been having weird dreams where I wake up in a panic. It happened three times this week!  All three have been about me losing Kenna and I wake up in a panic looking for her. I even jump out of bed. Then I come too and fall back asleep- CRAZY- Otherwise things are good. My best friend got married last weekend and we had soo much fun. Kenna stayed with the grandparents so Travis and I could enjoy all the wedding festivities. This week flew by. We had a play date with our friends, went and worked in the classroom, went shopping for Kenna's big girl bedroom. We had so much fun shopping, Kenna is so expressive and always so excited.  I will show you her room when we are finished. We are still working on painting.  This is the 3rd time we have painted this room since we have moved here lol. I am a little indecisive.

15 weeks Pregnant

Our 3rd wedding anniversary- I can still remember our wedding day like yesterday:)

Holy Smokes, this week flew by. We went camping last weekend with my family. It was great time. We went to a thrashing event lol which is a very country/hillbilly tractor event.  Is the best way I can describe it. It was quite the experience, but it was fun. They honestly had the best sweet corn I have had in a long time. We also took Kenna Mini Golfing and canoeing.  She did great. She only tried to climb out of the canoe one time. Thankfully.  She is not much for sitting in one place, but she had fun.  We came home Monday.  Then had VB Monday night and I started going to back to school meetings on Tuesday. I already miss Kenna. It is so hard to leave her.  We are also switching daycares this fall, which is an exciting, but scary thing.  Change is hard, but obliviously something we all have to do. We will miss our old daycare lady soooo much, but look forward to the new adventures and kiddos we will meet at our new one. I hope one day I will be able to stay home and watch my kids grow up and help them learn along the way, but for now bills need to be paid, so my husband and I work.  Everything on the baby end of things is going well.  I am pretty sure I felt he/she moving around in there:) Only makes it more real. 14 Weeks

14 weeks

Busy, busy, busy.  This weekend I went to my friends bachelorette party by Rhinelander, Wisconsin.  It was so much fun. It was so nice to spend time with my friends. I rarely do anything without Kenna, so at first it was weird because  I am so used to always watching her every second.  She is at the stage where she will try and eat anything. She has no fear.  We went swimming the other day and she doesn't know how to swim, but tried to swim very unsuccessfully.  She floated right to the bottom of the pool.  I was standing right next to her and picked her up quickly and she was like whoa and didn't even cry.  So I watch her very carefully.  It was nice to have a mommy break this weekend. Went pontooning, played sand volleyball, ate lots of yummy food, and talked around the camp fire. It was a great weekend and I cant wait for my friends' wedding next weekend. She is going to be stunning bride.
On Monday, I had a baby doc appointment. Everything went well. Baby's heartbeat was 152.  Prior to this week I got my blood drawn to test to see if I have cholestasis.  I have extremely itchy palms and it usually only happens at night. WEIRD. Anyways, my doctor got my blood work back and said everything was good. I will get tested again at 28 weeks just to double check.  The condition is not the best for the baby so they just want to be sure I don't have it.  I am positive that things will work out:)

9 Weeks Flash back of our 2nd pregnancy

Right now, my pregnancy is a secret, but I wanted to write some things down so I can remember and compare them to my first pregnancy.  SO HERE WE GO ROUND 2:)

I found out I was pregnant in May.  I new I was pregnant because I got so light headed. I would be sitting at the carpet with my 3rd graders and when I would go to stand up I would get really dizzy.  This happened a couple of times.  Also, I was also very tired and caffeine didn't even seem to help.  I took a pregnancy test six days before my missed period and no such luck, but as I got closer to my period I just felt pregnant. More dizziness, I didn't like my coffee, my veins in my stomach started to become more predominant so I drove after school with Kenna to buy one more test.  This was 1 day before my period.  Usually you are supposed to take the test right away in the morning, but I figured it was going to be positive so I went to my moms house and at 4:30 and Kenna and I found out I was pregnant.  We were pretty excited and couldn't wait to tell daddy, but daddy was at a baseball game.  He coaches JV baseball.  So Kenna and I colored him a picture that said We love Daddy, from Mommy, Kenna, and Baby #2.  Next, we sat through the whole game patiently waiting to give Travis his gift.  He walked us to the car and Kenna gave him her picture. At first he was like oh cool and I was like did you read it?? So he read it one more time and was like ARE YOU FOR REAL?  Yup, yup, we are having another one. We all hugged and were so happy.  From there we told my family with this cute little shirt.
